How do I purchase artwork?

Purchasing one of our high-quality JPEG images is easy! We support credit/debit cards and Paypal. We also have a simple credit system. To use credits, first create a personal account. All it takes is an email address and password. It's totally free. The Printable Marketplace has no subscription fees for members or hidden administration fees. Next, use PayPal or a card to add money to your account. Then shop! Find art you love and click the Buy Now link. Purchasing and Payment Options

Why do I need to create an account?

Creating an account allows you to create personal wish lists of favorite items, keep a record of your purchases, and earn credits through referring your friends. When you register for an account, you will receive a unique referral code. Give that code to your friends, and when they sign up with your referral code, you get 10% back for every dollar they spend. An account also notifies you of any big sales, freebies, or promo codes we offer. Of course, you can opt out of email notifications except for those relating to your account.

What is a wish list?

Your wish list is your personal collection of favorite pieces. If you hover over an image, you'll see links to purchase and to add to your wish list. Let's say you are choosing artwork for your new kitchen remodel. While you are browsing our Kitchen section, you can add pieces that catch your eye to your wishlist. Then, go to Wish List under your account menu to see all your choices next to each other. Your wish list is a great way to find coordinating pieces and save favorites to buy later.

What can I use the artwork for?

You can use your artwork for all sorts of projects...again and again! Most images have two buying options: one for commercial use and one for personal use. How do I download and print an image?

While searching for artwork, click on any image, or hover over it and click on the small shopping cart icon. This will take you to the listing. Here you will see the price and the Buy Now button. Click on the button. Now you will see three payment options: Use Credits, Pay With Card, or Use PayPal. Choose the option you'd like, and then click Purchase. It will display your receipt and transaction ID, and above that you will see a Download button. Click on Download. The file will save to your downloads folder.

Printing for Windows users: From the downloads folder, you can double click on the image and open it in Windows Photo Viewer and click on Print. Uncheck "Fit Picture to Frame" because that option can stretch or skew the image. Choose your desired size, and then click Print and enjoy your artwork!

Printing for Mac users: Double click the image in the downloads folder to open it in Preview. Choose File then choose Print from that menu. Click the Show Details option to select your paper size and image size options. Click Print and enjoy your artwork!

From the downloads folder, you can also open the image in Photoshop or drag it to a disk or USB flash drive if you'd like to take it to a print shop.

What is the best way to print my artwork?

All our files are ready to print right from your personal desktop printer. The size of the JPEGs is listed before you buy, and it will tell you how large the image can be printed at a high resolution. JPEGs usually look best when printed at 190-300 dpi. If you would like large format printing or photo or canvas prints, simply save the JPEG to a disk or USB flash drive and take it to your local print shop or send it to an online print store. How can I sell my artwork on The Printable Marketplace?

We'd love to have you become an artist with us! The Printable Marketplace was founded with the purpose of supporting artists all over the world, so we pay a 50% commission on every piece sold. No hidden administrative or member fees to worry about. We want to help you share your artwork and make money doing so.

Once approved as an artist on The Printable Marketplace, you can easily upload your own art to the website anytime, and it is instantly available for customers to view and purchase. You have the direct ability to choose prices and edit your listings, while we handle all transactions and customer service for you. This allows you to focus on what you do best: create artwork.
